Happy New Year 2026 🥳
I am still here, yoga’ing regularly for my own quality of life and peace of mind, whilst working hard as a special needs teacher and looking after my mental health. Here I am multitasking… yep you can see a research backed book about teaching reading to children with complex needs 😂
I would loooove to offer some form of yoga or workshop in 2026, perhaps for the Spring Equinox. If you would be interested let me know! This would likely involve gentle movement, breath work I have learned along the way, sensory stimulation (think essential oils, candles and fluffy blankets) and some journaling. Do not let cost stop you as this would be donation based with a small minimum cost. Logistics can be organised if people are interested!
Whatever you do this year, move your body. Whatever you can manage, even if it’s in bed! Hug those knees in to your chest and give yourself a big hug. Tap and rub your shoulders for some somatic release. Roll your shoulders and close your eyes as you take long deep and slow breaths. Our mind and bodies are connected and both need nurturing.
