Have Your Say on Mental Health Services in Surrey and North East Hampshire 💬

Surrey and North East Hampshire are working on a new approach to make mental health support more connected and easier to access locally—and we would love your input!

Right now, a team is developing a framework to better join up the services, teams, and organisations that support mental health in our local communities. The goal is to make sure people can get the help they need, when they need it—without being passed around from one service to another.

Surrey Coalition of Disabled People and the Independent Mental Health Network are helping to gather views from people with lived experience, as well as their families and carers.

You can get involved whether you’ve used mental health services or not, your views matter. All you have to do is complete a quick and anonymous survey—it only takes a few minutes!

There are just four questions, focusing on what you would like to see done differently and how you currently find information, advice, and support when you need it.

The closing date is Friday 10th October 2025.

It's Infant Mental Health Awareness Week (9-15 June 2025) 👶🩵🩷

This year’s theme is: 'Who is holding the baby?'

Not every parent bonds with their baby right away - and that's ok. Parents who are feeling overwhelmed or struggling with their mental health need the right support to help build a strong, loving connection with their baby. Because a supported parent = a supported baby.

This week, we’re shining a light on the vital services available for families during these early stages.

We’re proud to be working alongside the incredible team of specialists at the Parent-Infant Mental Health Service in Surrey, supporting families during pregnancy and beyond: https://parentinfantfoundation.org.uk/pin_teams/surrey-parent-infant-mental-health-service/

In addition, we offer our 'Evolve Perinatal' online group course, where parents can learn practical Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ( ) techniques to manage negative thoughts, focus on self-care, and navigate this sometimes challenging time.

🗓️ Next course starts: 8 July, 12-1:30pm (for 6 weeks)

Let’s keep pushing for a future where health and wellbeing are equal for all. 💪🌈
