The Emotional types; -
AGRIMONY For peace loving cheerful people who are distressed by Quarrels and hide their worries & torments under a happy, carefree mask. They tend to be nervous and have a dread of physical illness.
ASPEN for unaccountable fear, apprehension or anxiety, which is more disturbing for having to apparent cause to focus on.
BEECH for intolerant people who are highly critical of others and quick to judge.
CENTUARY for kind gentle people who are anxious to serve and please others. They are often exploited or imposed upon. They should take Centaury when they feel dominated by others (especially if they have been misguided by other people) and when feeling over sensitive and exhausted.
CERATO for those people who doubt their own judgement, constantly preferring to seek the advice of others, and consequently becoming misguided as a result. They can be changeable and lack concentration. Always seeking for information and asking questions. They are nervously talkative and can drain other people of energy.
CHERRY PLUM for over strained people, near to nervous breakdown, who fear they are losing their minds and might do something terrible.
CHESTNUT BUD for those who don't appear to benefit from experience or observation, making the same mistakes repeatedly.
CHICORY for possessive, overprotective and interfering people who always wants their love ones near them. They tend to be self-centered and feel they are not appreciated enough. They are always looking for things to put right. They fear losing friends despite the fact they are always finding fault with them. They are easily irritated and become victims of self-pity. They weep easily. And tend to be hypochondriacs.
CLEMATIS for the day dreamers and the absent minded who seem to pay little attention to their present circumstances and make little effort to get well. They can be extremely sensitive to noise. They can draw illness to themselves to escape from their life experiences.
CRAB APPLE for people who feel despair or disgust over their physical condition or some aspect of their nature. It is known as the cleansing remedy and is good for skin problems.
ELM for capable people who become overwhelmed by their responsibilities and succumb to feelings of inadequacy.
GENTIAN for people who are easily depressed and discouraged by setbacks during an illness or in their daily affairs. They tend to give up easily even when things are going well, a small glitch will dishearten them. This is the type of personality that makes mountains out of molehills. They can fall in to the depths of melancholy for no apparent reason.
GORSE for those who have totally lose heart & feel great hopelessness and despair regarding their condition in life.
HEATHER for talkative, self-centered people, who constantly seek companionship so their grievances may be aired. They sap the vitality out of those around them.
HOLLY For those who suffer from feelings of jealousy, envy, revenge, suspicion & hatred. (the pandoras box remedy).
HONEY SUCKLE for those who constantly dwell in the past, feeling the present and future will never live up to the past. (This is the remedy for Homesickness).
HORNBEAM for the type of mental fatigue and weariness which makes it hard to get out of bed in the mornings.
IMPATIENS for those who are quick, active, nervous dispositions who become impatient and irritable at the slightest delay or hindrance. These people cannot bear to be ill and will do anything to force the pace of their convalescence. Illness comes about by their inability to relax. These people have plenty of self-assurance and self-reliance with high ideals. Yet they lack tolerance and tend to criticise and hurry other people
LARCH for those who seldom attempt anything, believing they are always doomed to failure. They suffer from a total lack of confidence.
MIMULUS for shy, timid people who suffer from known fears, as being alone, accidents, illness, death, and so on.
MUSTARD for those who are prone to black periods of depression, which descend without warning and for no apparent reason.
OAK for courageous people who never stop trying nor give up hope, even though they may despair of the outcome.
OLIVE for those who are totally exhausted and drained of vitality by long standing illness or other serious problems.
PINE for those people who are always apologising and blaming themselves. They are just never content with their achievements and feel guilty for not doing better.
RED CHESTNUT for those who are overly anxious about other people, frequently anticipating all sorts of mishaps & maladies always fearing the worse.
ROCK ROSE for anyone experiencing extreme terror, fright or panic. Also to be used if suffering from bad dreams and nightmares. It is one of the constituents in Rescue remedy. It should be remembered that people or animals for that matter die more from shock than any symptoms following an accident, together with Rescue Remedy. In an emergency take a swig straight from the bottle do not waste time measuring out quantity.
ROCK WATER for those that are ridged in mind, inflexible in opinion and self-denying in action.
SCLERATHUS for those that find it difficult to decide when there are two opinions. They suffer from their indecision quietly, unlike the Cerato type. They tend to lack to lack concentration and suffer from mood swings which can lead to nervous breakdown. Their reactions maybe slow & they tend to avoid taking any actions. When unstable this person maybe tearful and even prone to violent outbursts.
STAR OF BETHLEHEM for situations involving mental & physical shock, bad news, frights, accidents, serious disappointments (including past trauma) etc.
SWEET CHESTNUT for those who suffer from deep despair and loneliness. Usually they are strong characters, who bear their anguish quietly.
VERVAIN for highly strung active individuals who have strong opinions and ideas that they try to force on other people. They are perfectionists and fanatics and tend to over care for others.. This is a remedy for the fixed signs of the Zodiac as well as those who rarely change their opinions.
VINE for people who are dominating, efficient, and ambitious. They crave power and authority and expect everyone around them to be obedient. They can be hard and cruel.
WALNUT Helps people through life changes such as teething, puberty, menopause. It is also for those who need to make life changes such as divorce, new job, school, moving to a new house, or country etc. but feel bound to old responsibilities and ties. It is also useful in breaking addictions (It is known as the link breaker).
WATER VIOLET for those who like to be left alone in health and in illness. They are usually very quiet gentle people who are self-reliant & very capable. They often come across as superior, proud or aloof.
WHITE CHESTNUT for those who are tortured by persistent unwanted thoughts, often with a preoccupation with a specific problem or event.
WILD OAT for talented ambitious people who have become despondent and dissatisfied as they cannot find an occupation which fulfills them.
WILD ROSE for those who are resigned to whatever happens and make little effort to change things for the better. They show no interest in life and make for dull companions.
WILLOW for those made bitter & resentful by their misfortunes. They begrudge other people’s good fortune. They feel life has been unjust to them and they seldom blame themselves.
