📣 Client Win 📣 Rachel came to me 10 weeks ago with one goal: complete a doubles Hybrid X event to raise money for NW Cancer Treatment Centre 💪🏼

Her mum Gina even joined the 8-week training journey alongside her (not competing, just showing incredible support 💌).

At the start, Rachel doubted herself. She was nervous about the competition and unsure if she could complete all the stations without leaning heavily on her event partner.

Safe to say… she is NOT that same woman today.

Through early mornings and late nights after demanding 12-hour nursing shifts, Rachel showed up every single time. Not because it was easy - but because it mattered. She pushed past limits she once thought were out of reach.

Along the way, she’s built resilience, confidence, and serious strength. And while it wasn’t her main focus, she’s also lost lbs, toned up, and feels more confident in her own skin.

By the end of our programme, Rachel was completing all stations in 1hr 12min - and didn’t stop there. With 2 weeks to go, she had the tools, the routine, and the belief to keep pushing. Check-ins, updates, messages… she stayed locked in and determined to improve.

Then came yesterday - Event Day…

They absolutely smashed it, finishing in 1hr 14s and with a smile on her face throughout - How amazing is that achievement? 🤩

Rachel, it’s been an honour to coach you.

Watching that growth - not just physically, but mentally - is what this is all about 🏆

This is what happens when you have:
👉🏼 The right guidance
👉🏼 A clear plan
👉🏼 And someone in your corner keeping you accountable

But most importantly, YOU make the decision to show up for yourself.

If you’re someone who feels unsure, lacks confidence, or doesn’t know where to start… Rachel felt the exact same way 10 weeks ago.

You don’t need to have it all figured out - you just need to start.

If you’re ready to become your strongest, most confident self, my DMs are open 🤝🏼

I’ve been hinting about my next challenge… and it’s finally time to share 🩵

On May 10th, I’ll be taking on my very first sprint triathlon to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. 🏊🏻‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

This one means more than I can put into words.

My closest and oldest friend, Jodi, has cystic fibrosis. We’ve been inseparable for over 16 years - even when we’ve been apart - growing up side by side through every high and low, holidays, heartbreaks, loss and everything in between. Our families have always said we came as a package deal… and honestly, they weren’t wrong. From trying to convince hospital nurses to let me stay over during her treatments, to basically having my own bed in her childhood room - she’s not just my best friend, she’s like a sister.

Cystic fibrosis is a life-limiting genetic condition that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. It causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs, making it difficult to breathe and leading to serious infections. Every day involves a relentless routine of treatments just to stay well enough to live life. During outbreaks like COVID, people with CF were under the strictest isolation measures to keep themselves safe.

But there is hope.

Research into CF has transformed lives in recent years. Life expectancy has increased from the mid-20s to over 40, thanks to groundbreaking treatments that target the root cause of the disease. These advancements don’t just add years - they add moments, milestones, and memories that once felt impossible.

For me and Jodi, that has meant being each other’s cheerleaders through university - and now, the possibility of seeing each other buy homes and get married one day. Building families. Building careers. Growing old. Things we once only dreamed about.

Knowing Jodi inspired me to pursue my degree in biomedical science, and it continues to drive my passion for helping others live healthier, happier lives in my career as a personal trainer.
This challenge is for her, for everyone living with CF, and for the future of life-changing research.

It’s an honour to fundraise for such an important cause. My fundraising goal is £250 but any donation, no matter how small, would mean the absolute world to me - and to us.

Thank you for being part of this journey🫀🫁

Love you always Jo 💛

47.8 miles down. 8.2 to go…🏅

Some truly beautiful walks completed, three days left until the end of Feb and the finish line is in sight 🏁

This month has been more than miles. It’s been finding time in the day, tired legs, honest conversations, shared stories, and powerful reminders of why I chose to fundraise for Mind.

Mental health isn’t a taboo topic. It’s not “someone else’s issue.” It touches all of us at different times, in different ways. And you never know when you (or someone you love) might need that extra support.

Mind provides vital resources, safe spaces, and advocacy to ensure people struggling aren’t facing it alone. Your donation helps support children, adults, families, workplaces, and communities by creating environments where it’s safe to say, “I’m not okay.” And provides tools to help tackle struggles that aren’t always easy to spot 🧠

As I head into the final 8.2 miles, starting the journey with my partner on day 1 and finishing it together on Saturday, this is the last big push for us and a final little request to those around me.

If you’ve followed the journey, cheered us on, shared a conversation, or know how crucial this kind of support really is - pay that forward by making a donation to this fundraiser for Mind Charity 💙

Every contribution, big or small, genuinely makes a difference.

Full overview of the month to come 🗓️

A few thoughts:
- Don’t judge what you haven’t experienced or don’t understand -> what you shoulder as Monday blues might feel like the walls closing in to someone else.
- Be open to uncomfortable conversations, you might relate or even learn something.
- Check in on your people.
- Your mental health matters and the door here is open, always. 🤍

A little about me…

I’m not just here to train you — I’m a sports girl at heart who’s learned how to adapt, rebuild, and keep showing up 🩵

Sport and exercise has shaped my life as long as I can remember - from lacrosse and netball to dabbling in just about anything active I can try. Even though I’m not currently competing, that athlete mindset never really leaves you 🥍

These days you’ll usually find me on the gym floor, outdoors on a scenic trek, attempting a bouldering route, at a live concert, planning my next adventure, or winding down with a good book and cuddling fur babies ✨

From my degree in Biomedical Science, I love understanding the science behind how our bodies work - but real life has been my biggest teacher
I manage epilepsy and coeliac disease daily, which has completely shaped how I view health and training. For me, it’s not about extremes - it’s about resilience, balance, and learning to work with your body🧘🏼‍♀️

In February, I’m taking on 56 miles for Mind, link in my bio for any greatly appreciated donations💙And there’s a big challenge coming in May… more on that soon 👀

This page is about enjoying life, movement, improving mindset, and building strength in a way that fits real life 💪🏼

Starting the year by giving back 💙

I’ve got a few charity events coming up this year, and the first is one that’s close not only to us, but to so many others.

Throughout February, we’ll be pushing ourselves out of the January slump and covering 56 miles for mental health, fundraising for Mind Charity 🧠

Mental health comes with highs and lows for everyone - ourselves included. No problem is too small to share, and checking in with yourself and those around you really does matter 💌

Taking on this challenge together gives my partner Abbey and I space to reflect on our own journeys, open up about stories we might not know yet, and continue learning how to support each other in the life we’re building. Abbeys little boy will be joining us on some walks too - full of energy, motivation, and the perfect opportunity to let him lead conversations about how he’s navigating his own experiences 🥹

Although we work in completely different industries, one thing remains the same: we spend our days helping people make positive changes and providing them the tools to do so. Mind is such a crucial part of that wider support network, and we’d be incredibly grateful for any donations towards this important cause…

Keep an eye on both of our socials for updates on how we get on 🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️
