March’s volunteer hours blew my mind… and somehow April has surpassed them! 👏
Can we beat last year’s incredible support for Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, where Community First Responders across Yorkshire completed 228,400 volunteer hours, with 101,523 of those hours contributed by the North Area.
Over the past four years, recruitment in the North has been slow. However, over the last year this has really moved forward. North Yorkshire and The Yorkshire Dales are now supported by 79 Volunteer Community First Responders, with five more due to be interviewed this week.
Could you commit to a minimum of 20 hours a month, being at the end of the phone on call to help your community in an emergency?
If the answer is yes, why not take a look at becoming a Volunteer Community First Responder.
🚨 Please note: Recruitment is currently on hold in central Northallerton and Stokesley.
✅ All other areas are open, including and everything in between, Great Ayton, Arkengarthdale, Masham, RAF Leeming, and all surrounding villages.
Come and help us save lives within YOUR community ❤️
