Let’s Recap last week…

To start the week off me and Mariam went to town for a coffee where we bumped into a friend, meaning miriam could have a nice, overdue catch up. We then had a walk around some shops. On Wednesday hump day I went to visit Liz were we sat and had a catch up enjoying a coffee ☕️. Later that day me and Sylvia went to Tescos to grab some shopping and stop off for a coffee after. Moving onto Thursday I went and spent a few hours with John, starting with some breakfast to then having a catch up.
To finish off the week I went and spent some time with Derek where we had a coffee and then started having a tidy up around the house.

Incase anyone was wondering, yes I like coffee ☕️😁

🌟 The Power of Companionship 🌟

For many older adults, having someone they trust to talk to can brighten their day, lift their spirits, and even improve their health.

A simple conversation can go a long way. Whether it’s reminiscing about the past, sharing stories ( I love hearing old stories ), or just enjoying quiet company, the presence of a trusted companion can ease loneliness and bring joy.

Companionship isn’t just about filling time—it’s about feeling seen, heard, and valued.

Sometimes it’s hard for family to be present all the time, which is why I offer a companionship service with the focus to help people feel comfortable and at ease, whilst having a cup of tea and laugher.

This morning me and John took a walk up to the town hall’s coffee morning, enjoying a cup of coffee and a chat with old friends. We then took a walk home around castle walk, the sun was shining and the smiles kept coming ☀️☕️
