Divine Yoga

Divine Yoga Join the Wellness Revolution of Divine Yoga By Deepti Gupta. A learning centre for all yoga learners. I’m a mum of 3 lovely kids living in Croxley.

I'm certified Yoga instructor from British Wheel of Yoga (BWY). To me, Yoga is an act of creating, finding or becoming aware of the conscious connection between mind, body and breath. I strongly believe that regular practice improves strength, balance, flexibility and enhances quality of life. My journey of yoga began 8 years ago in India – the land of Yoga, where Yoga is a ritual, and not just a form of exercise. After my second Caesarean I was looking at different exercises to get back into shape. At the same time, I was struggling with persistent pain in lower back. This was the moment when Yoga came into my life and has been an inseparable part ever since. Within a month, I started feeling better with the pain which eventually vanished with regular practice and led to a tremendous upliftment in my physical, mental and spiritual well-being. This made me a firm believer of therapeutic effects of Yoga. My belief was reinforced 10 months ago when Yoga sped up my recovery after my third Caesarean. In initial stage of my career, I taught Economics to A Level students. Few years back I realised that I can combine the two most important passions of my life – teaching and Yoga by becoming a Yoga instructor. So, I began teaching Yoga after completing 300-hours training programme with BWY. Description – About my classes
My 75-minute Hatha Yoga class consist of intention setting, specific warm up, active integration of asana work breath, breathing (Pranayam) practice and a guided relaxation to finish with. I love to weave mantra chanting and yoga philosophy around my yoga class to enable my students experience deeper, spiritual and fulfilling practice. My classes are suitable for all levels, including beginners. Everyone is encouraged to work within their own ability through modifications and variations by using yoga props such as belts, blocks, bricks, bolsters, etc (all provided). My teaching background along with my extensive Yoga training helps me to communicate Yoga philosophy and Yoga poses in a way which is easy to comprehend.
