Did you know that Lymington Hospital has a Wellbeing Nature Trail for patients, staff and visitors? We were so excited to receive a donation of several crates of strawberry plants! Tidying them by weeding and cutting out dead leaves has been a great job for the recent rainy days- staying sheltered and dry in the poly tunnel- and dreaming of what we’ll do with all the strawberries we’ll be harvesting. Today we arrived to find a fallen tree on the road outside the farm, so our first job was to sort this out- cutting up the branches to bundle up for dead-hedges, insect piles and lay alongside young hedges to deter the deer from eating them!
