🧴It’s personal preference whether to use sun cream on your baby. If you do, make sure it’s at least SPF 30, baby sensitive and protects against both UVA and UVB rays.
🍼 freeze your baby’s usual milk to make milk lollies to keep them cool and hydrated. 🍉 and 🥒 are high in water content too.
💤 try to keep baby cool when sleeping. If you use sleeping bags, make sure you have lower tog rating for summer:
🥵 22-24 degrees = short sleeved vest and 1-1.5 tog bag
🥵🥵 24-27 degrees = short sleeved vest and 0.5 tog bag or less
🥵🥵🥵 27 degrees plus = just a nappy is fine (with 0.2 bag or less)
Good luck and stay cool 😎
