Moving Muscles Sports Massage Therapist
Having been involved in a variety of sports all my life including water-skiing snow-skiing and triathlons, I have experienced the effects of a sports injury to myself, friends and family. This experience has developed my understanding of how important it is to keep our muscles healthy so you are able to walk, run, jump, lift things, play sports, and do all the other things you love to do. Exercising, getting enough rest, and eating a balanced diet will help to keep your muscles healthy but it is also important to understand how injuries can be prevented by incorporating daily routines to help stretch strength and re-balance our muscles to enable us to perform at our optimum, not just in sports activities but also in our daily task anywhere anytime. My passion is to help people prevent muscle injury using sports specific massage techniques as well as giving advice on how to maintain healthy muscles through strengthening, stretching and re-balancing programmes specifically designed to your personal requirements. I have been fortunate to work alongside the official SMT for the GB Wakeboard Team at the Nationals competition 2019. I have also attended other waterski and wakeboard events offering on-site pre and post massage treatments. I now have my own treatment room as well as a facility to be mobile at events and I will also be continuing my professional development to become a level 4 SMT. I look forward to helping you.
