Yesterday we made dreams come true ❤️ we took these 3 lovely gents for a v.i.p tour around Leicester City football club. We had an amazing time and got the real v.i.p treatment with lots of free goodies and got to see the changing rooms the pitch the vip lounge and even a walk threw the tunnel . The gents loved it as did wendy and I...... Next stop tigers ground ❤️

Spencer had quite the adventure today! 🧸✨

He enjoyed a refreshing shower, some brand-new stuffing, and a lovely outfit change to keep him feeling his best. He even renewed his passport and made some wonderful new teddy friends along the way.

A truly magical day for Spencer — now he’s all set and ready for his next travels with Springcare 💙

On Friday Spencer went and looked out of Gwen's window, Spencer Supports Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Tigers 🐯. Kate and Spencer enjoyed playing the Piano. Then went and done some filling of paperwork.

On Thursday Spencer was very busy helping Jordan the senior doing her paperwork.
Then we had a delivery from Brakes and Spencer checked the Lorry to make sure the temperatures on the lorry was correct. Then Rachel and Spencer checked the delivery off to make sure everything was delivered. Spencer then went and had breakfast with a resident, Then went and checked some visitors in at reception with Deb, Then Spencer went and cleaned the floors with his PPE on with Simon, Spencer went and had a chat with Joyce and she was telling Spencer about where he was going on his travels around all the other homes.
Spencer then went and places Bingo with Irene. The. At the end of the day Spencer went and checked the emails for the Activities Team Wendy and Becki.

We’re thrilled to introduce **Spencer the Springcare Bear**, our very own *Dementia Awareness Ambassador*! Spencer is setting off on a heart‑warming adventure across the **East Midlands Springcare Homes**, spreading smiles, comfort, and connection wherever he goes.

His journey begins at **The Lawns in Leicester**, before travelling from home to home — meeting residents, joining activities, and capturing special moments along the way. Each week, Spencer will share snapshots of his adventures, showing off the wonderful experiences and friendships he’s made.

After completing his grand tour, Spencer will make his final stop at **Springcare Head Office in Shropshire**, where his story will come full circle.

Let’s cheer him on as he *lives his best life*, bringing joy, laughter, and a touch of Springcare magic to every home he visits.

A brilliant Good Friday here at The Lawns celebrating Easter with a fun religious quiz about the origins of Easter and traditions!!

Our winner was Susanne who scored an impressive 20/25 !!!!

All followed by a game of bingo with 2 winners:

Who both won an Easter egg🎉🎉

We also had our Easter bonnet competition and after some careful consideration, our chef Tom decided that Joan was our winner with her bunny ear bonnet!
