Many people assume that hypermobility Syndrome (HMS) or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) affects only joint mobility, this is a myth. Due to how our bodies are made, it is likely that HMS or EDS is likely to affect many area's of the body. Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 1

Health Education England have developed a free on-line training session about autism and learning disabilities for Health and Social Care staff. This training is free to anyone and provides a foundation knowledge. This can be found at :

For those wanting to celebrate autism acceptance week Twinkl have developed some resources, perhaps these could be used alongside those from the AET. Be careful, as some of the language is a bit out of date, for example autism is often used to refer to all areas of autism, we do not need to use the term condition or disorder has a negative spin on it. When we frame autism from the neurodiversity model, we are talking about a difference.
