Did you know that a celebration of life (funeral service) does not have to be held at the crematorium or even a chapel ? Using a non traditional venue can add personalisation to the service, allows flexibility of timings, doesn’t have to be a weekday, and can be more accessible to attendees. I’ve delivered services at a golf club, a folk club and a large garden, each one made the celebration of life special.
Most people do choose a traditional venue, pictured is Boarshaw Chapel, but often it’s because they don’t realise there are great alternatives.
