“How am I going to get through today?”
If this was your first thought this morning, this is an ultimate signal that you need something.
⚡️A break.
⚡️A conversation.
⚡️A new job.
⚡️A challenge.
⚡️The courage to leave.
⚡️The courage to stay.
⚡️The courage to visit your GP.
⚡️Sunshine.
⚡️To delete social media for a while.
⚡️Being honest with your team.
⚡️Stop pleasing others before yourself.
⚡️Chocolate (it’s always the answer, right?)
⚡️A hug.
⚡️To pat yourself on your back and say “this is fricking hard, but I can do it”.
⚡️More time with friends.
⚡️To organise a payment plan.
⚡️To stop comparing yourself to other people’s successes and lives.
We all have these thoughts. But we don’t need to keep them.
If something’s niggling you, don’t ignore it. Look at it in the face and ask “what are you telling me?”
Remember - it’s not “what’s the matter with you?”, it’s “WHAT MATTERS TO YOU?”
Life in the ‘upside down’ can be scary, but not as hairy as ignoring reality.
