We started off our day today with discussing how today’s newspaper varied from what the residents remember the ones used to be when they were in their younger years.
Continuing to explore today’s copy of Daily Sparkle. A lot of the women knew about the women’s hour and enjoyed reliving some of their fondest memories of it, the staff also loved hearing those memories! The gentlemen all enjoyed competing in the daily quiz questions too!

Indoor skittles, knitting and lots of armchair exercises was a hit with everyone yesterday afternoon

We’ve had a lovely morning so far making paper mache rocks in preparation to decorate and paint! The residents thoroughly enjoyed this activity over a drink of their choice and a chat about the Daily Sparkle

Elvis came to the Priory 16.09.2025, kindly donated by Joyce’s daughter for her birthday. Happy birthday Joyce, we all thoroughly enjoyed spending your special day with you. ❤️

what an absolute fantastic day!!! Brilliant atmosphere. There’s far too many people to thank but thank you to EVERYONE who made today very special, the residents of the Priory had an amazing day and it was all because of all of you who came to support us. Thank you to all of our friends, families of residents, staff and who donated, made cakes, helped out and just made the day special we all very much appreciate it. Thank you to all the staff who worked today too and for Kelly who made a wonderful buffet. ❤️
