Managing spasticity across the north west and beyond. 💪🦵💉💊
Last week we treated our patients in clinic with Karen and out in the community with Louise.
We have been working with independent physiotherapists, OTs, case managers and speech therapists to maximise patient outcomes through the administration of botulinum toxin injections and prescribing systemic medications.

Last week spent an afternoon working with a client who had a goal to paddleboard. We went to The Anderton Centre and WOW, a can do attitude in action. Paddle boarding (standing, sitting and kneeling), canoeing, boating, high ropes, mountaineering…….. there are no limits no matter the impairment. Phenomenal center with amazing instructors 👏👏👏👏

Back in Birmingham where my work in spasticity management started in 2012. A colleague went off unexpectedly early on mat leave early and I was asked to cover her clinic….. life can have a funny way of making its own plans!
