Better later than never with the AI caricature, meet Zoe, Lead Practitioner of ZOI skincare and Aesthetics.

As an Advanced clinical/Nurse Practitioner, Zoe is educated at Master’s level, done further Masters study in Education and leadership, also I am an independent nurse prescriber.

I have now been working in NHS for over 25yrs gaining me a wealth of knowledge and expertise in cardiology, surgery, renal, haematology, primary care and care of the deteriorating patients( acute response team and now acute medicine and SDEC which I love.

I am very passionate about providing a service that meets the clients needs, whether that be advise on anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, or skincare. My focus is natural looking treatments, that just enhances your natural features.

Like the caricature : I wears a stethoscope, because I work full time in the NHS and it is always around neck, My beautiful doll faced Persian called Ilo at my side, I 🫶🏻 him and I always talk about him, I like to keep fit and I work out at least 3/4 time a week🙈 and just a few products, because I love taking pride in doing skincare and filler enhances.

Why Micro-needling!🫧
Basically I use a Dermapen that has 12 or 36 needles on the very tip and these needles are the ones that are used to puncture the top layer of the skin as the Dermapen glides over over the skin. Usually, the Dermapen will be positioned vertically over the skin and when it is turned on, a motor that is found inside the pen will start making the needles to move rapidly back and forth on the skin surface creating the punctures and these needles have been created in such a way that they can rotate in a slight way. These punctures created in the process are usually aimed at opening up the pores for a period of time only.

🫧Dermapen is used mostly for face wrinkles, scars, stretch marks and facial lines. When one is injured and the skin forms a scar, or if they have a stretch mark the body will treat these as though that area was repaired. Therefore having the punctures created in the scar tissue will cause the skin to initiate healing and, therefore, the damaged skin will tend to get eliminated and replaced with new skin. For wrinkles and face lines, basically, the produced collagen and elastin will cause the skin to thicken and also tighten leaving the skin looking youthful.
