So what are these ‘marks’ on our patients face?
Our patient came to us 2 months following a ‘skin booster’ product injected at another clinic. She was very upset and lost all confidence due to the ‘marks’ it had left behind.
She suffered a combination of post inflammatory pigmentation, nodules and some scaring.
Let’s note her skin was reported without a mark or scar before treatment and surprise surprise another dodgy skin booster company unreachable.
Soooo what did we do to help?
We prescribed medication to help treat the inflammation and prescribed medical grade skin care to use at home between LaserMe treatments and blue radiance peels.
She does not have makeup on, her skin is glowy, dewy, hydrated with an overall improvement of the skin texture and reduction in pigmentation. Her results have further improved hugely and we will update when we review.
Please take note! Research what is injected into your face whether this be a skin booster, toxin or dermal filler.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again! If it’s too good to be true it probably is. Practitioners please work closely with your companies and representatives to ensure your purchasing your products from pharmacies that have been supplied directly to ensure products are not counterfeit.
