RKBeauty 2025 roundup. WHAT A YEAR 🖤
JANUARY - I made the leap to join Dalby UK salon after leaving the original salon I ever started lashing at. Probably the scariest thing I ever did in my whole career but I knew it was time for growth.
FEBRUARY - Created my signature ‘Rhee Lash’. Filmed a whole TikTok on how to create this look in order to try help grow my social media platform (something I hate🤣). Luckily one of my best friends Holly always has my back for this. Quit my part time job at Flannels to throw myself completely into my lash business, my security blanket had gone from beneath me which was very scary!
MARCH - Enterned the world of semi-permanent makeup. Something I had been wanting to do for soooooo long. My Lipblush journey was finally underway.
APRIL - The return of the classic. Which in all honesty is my least favourite treatment to do but it was back in full demand so I had to join the hype.
MAY - Started offering model slots for Lipblush whilst I was still carrying out my course. I remember being so happy with that first ever model I couldn’t wait to share the results.
JUNE - The summer lash lifts started rolling in and all the prom girls. Probably my most favourite time of the year!
JULY - After the lash bookings going quieter in June due to laslift demand the lashes started to filter back in, creating lots of pretty Hybrids, my first ever brown set and having the pleasure off doing my old boss’s wedding lashes. A very special moment for me ❤️. The end of July along came the Korean Lash Lift changing my work life completely!
AUGUST - A sad month as Dalby salon was closing some very sad weeks for us in the salon as we said goodbye to our lovely boss Nat. We didn’t know what was coming next so through all the uncertainty in typical Rhee style I just peaced and pouted my way through the days till we knew what was happening 🤣 Aside to that my Korean lash lift journey was growing. Getting approached by local beauticians to help them develop their Korean skills, something I couldn’t believe I was getting asked to do.
SEPTEMBER - Had one of my Korean lash lifts featured on the DALBY UK website which was sooo nice to see. As well as doing lots of Korean lash lifts I carried on perfecting my lipblush spending more time in the clinic room expanding my knowledge on pigment theory. Whilst our new boss Holly Wassell stepped up who is the best person ever to work beneath.
OCTOBER - LASHABSE reached out to me to send me a PR package after noticing me on TikTok. I couldn’t believe a brand as big as this had noticed little me. I spend so much time perfecting my Korean lash lifts it was nice to be given some credit for it 🥲
NOVEMBER - Lots more lash lifting and probably my busiest month ever but a sad one as we said goodbye to my work bestie with her last couple of weeks at work ready for her to go on mat leave 💖
DECEMBER - Celebrated our first ever Christmas at Bella Lux with the most amazing team whilst getting all my clients glam ready for Christmas 🥰
2025 you were good to me 🙏🏽 and I couldn’t do any of it without my amazing clients ❤️
Biggest thank you to my special 3. My mam, dad and Ross who support me in every delusional idea I have for work, constantly telling me I’m capable of anything and make my home life as easy as can be.
2026 I am soooooo ready for you. Some exciting things coming👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
