Cat calling, wolf whistles.... Today a new law will target those who harass women and girls in public because of their s*x.
For far too long we have been made to endure obscure comments, s*xually violent threats, invasion of personal space resulting in us feeling unsafe in public, changing our routes, staying inside at night, or risking being a victim to s*xual harassment.
Do you think that this will make a difference before men act? Do you think it makes our streets safer?
