2024-25 ANNOUNCEMENT 👏

Dearne Valley RUFC are pleased to announce that their pitch side medical support this season will be provided by Sophie Lamph, owner of SL Injury & Massage Clinic🏥

Sophie is a graduate Sports Rehabilitator, graduating from university with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation. She is registered with the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and her career so far has provided her with a wide array of sports related experience including:
👉🏾Working privately with professional bodybuilders and athletes
👉🏾Working within professional boxing, including former world champion Terri Harper
👉🏾Pitchside experience with Featherstone Rovers, Hull KR, and Hull FC
👉🏾Working with Team GB Moto Enduro as Lead Medic and supporting them to their 2022 gold medal victory

“Looking after the health and wellbeing of our players is top priority at this club. We wanted to make sure we had someone in place with the best credentials and experience to provide first class medical support for our squad, something not many other amateur clubs can confidently say they have, and I’m excited to have secured that with Sophie’s services” said Director of Rugby Callum Emery. “We are thrilled to have her on board.”🗣️

2023 was a great business year for me. I got to travel the world and work in places I could only dream of. Meet amazing people and make memories to last a lifetime.

If 2023 has taught me anything it’s to take the opportunities given and have no regrets, as you don’t know what’s around the corner.
