I flew to Las Vegas 10th-16th June for the Arbonne Global Training Conference. It was epic.
Amazing trainings, incredible new products launched, impressive statistics about the company and its B Corporation status. Plus lots of belly laughing and quality time with my consultant buddies. It was great to see the new products up close and test them. I am LOVING the new haircare, my hair is so much boingier and light!

Questions I keep asking myself so I thought I would share....
My eldest son, now 10, has rashy skin. Not badly but it does flare up from time to time. Doctors constantly prescribed creams to try on his skin - they just picked one from a list and would say try that and come back if it doesn’t work... we went through quite a lot of them - none of them worked. Then we found a cream in a shop that kind of worked but didn’t clear it up. Whilst talking to my friend she suggested that I try a body lotion aimed at children. I had never heard of the lotion. Anyway, we tried the cream and had a ‘yeehah’ moment when the cream really helped. 4 years later we haven’t looked back, have tried a few other products by the same company and, as a family, are now using as many of the products as possible.
What’s so special about this company...? The products DO NOT contain parabens, are absent of mineral oil (that yucky stuff that oil companies sell off to your everyday brand to help fill up the shampoo/shower gel/lotion containers), are vegan friendly and are also gluten free and not tested on animals. They are pure, safe and beneficial. I now love these products and don’t care if they are slightly more costly than the shops because I know how concentrated with natural ingredients they are and that they last for ages. I know they are good for my skin. I have sorted out my fitness and am sorting out my diet - now it’s my (and my families) turn to sort out what we are putting on to our skin, into our hair, into our bodies. The more I have looked in to mineral oil / parabens I’m slightly horrified as to what I have been putting on my skin/hair for the past 46 years!
The great thing is that there is a business opportunity alongside these products. In March 2018 I hosted a product party (I had already hosted a few). After having had a few glasses of Prosecco, I signed up as an Independent Consultant - I think I had relaxed a little (!) and was so proud of my friends achievements with her business that I wanted some of that life too.
Flexibility - another reason for signing up as Independent Consultant. I run my own business which I have been able to fit around school runs. Our youngest son has a medical condition which means that, if he has to have any hospital visits, I can fit work in around that. Sometimes I have to go up to his school to sort out his colostomy bag - I can do that with this job without any hassle of asking the boss if I can disappear for a while. Becoming an Independent Consultant meant that I could fit the work in during my evenings. I sit and watch tv most nights so felt that I could sacrifice that in order to make my business work.
