National Smile Month The UK's largest oral health campaign raising awareness of oral disease and importance of prevention. Cut down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks.

National Smile Month is the UK’s largest oral health campaign. Right at the heart of it you’ll find three key messages that can go a long way to improving oral health. They are:

Brush your teeth last thing at night and on at least one other occasion with a fluoride toothpaste. Visit the dentist regularly, as often as they recommend.

And just like that, Smile Month is over for another year.

We've loved seeing all of the different activities going on in all corners of the country and how engaged so many people got with their oral health. Thank you to everyone who took the time to set up an event, talk, activity, or display to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy happy mouth.

Once more, let's shout about the most important oral health messages for the campaign, and remind people that just because Smile Month is over, taking care of your mouth will always be important!
