Here are some highlights from one of my recent sessions! My client came in with a tight right calf, which had been causing irritation in their day-to-day activities.
After a thorough assessment, we began the session with a gentle effleurage (long, sweeping strokes) to warm up the muscles and promote blood flow. Then, we moved on topetrissage, using kneading and compression techniques to work deeper into the muscle tissue and release tension.
During the massage, I identified a few muscle knots in the calf, which I focused on to help loosen them up and improve mobility. I applied more targeted pressure to break down those tight spots, allowing for better flexibility and reduced discomfort.
