🌏 A message that made me smile today…

One of my lovely clients recently sent me an update from Bali.

Before her last session, she had been hit by a car and was dealing with a lot of pain. Even going out for a walk made her feel anxious.

Fast forward to now… she’s in Ubud, where the traffic is famously chaotic — scooters everywhere, constant beeping horns, and vehicles passing just inches away.

And her message?

“I’m currently in Bali, pain free and enjoying the sights… The traffic here is crazy yet I’m really comfortable walking along the edges of the road. I honestly can’t thank you enough Rachel. You and this new therapy are amazing.”

Reading messages like this means so much to me. 💛

There are so many benefits of New Vision Therapy:
👍 It helps remove unprocessed emotions and trauma from the body without the client having to talk about it.
This is helpful as the client doesn't have to re-live the event/trauma.
👍 Improves musculoskeletal issues. Tension in the body can affect mobility and posture.
👍 Very gentle, no poking or prodding.
👍 Advise at least 3 weeks between sessions so nervous system can integrate whats happened in the session.

What the hell even is NVT?🤔
How does it work?

New Vision Therapy (NVT) is a gentle, hands on therapy that removes tension in the body that is keeping the nervous system stuck in a dysregulated state.

This tension could have come from various life experiences e.g. injuries/trauma/unprocessed emotions.

It also creates 'kinks' in the fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds the entire body).

Now a little info about the nervous system..

Your brain and spinal cord are surrounded by cerebral spinal fluid which is constantly getting created and absorbed, creating a pulsing sensation.

This pulsing can be felt all around the body because of you fascia.

But when your fascia has kinks in it from injury etc it disrupts the pulsing sensation.

This is is what I'm 'listening' to during an NVT session to find where the tension is in the body so I can release it.

And through its release, help the nervous system come back into regulation.

I'm not there this week but there will be plenty of other therapists/healers to see 😊

You overreact but can’t control it
You feel numb instead of emotional
You’re exhausted but wired at night
You can’t fully relax, even on vacation
You feel “fine” but your body feels tight

This isn’t who you are. It’s a nervous system pattern.

And it can change.

You’re not lazy. You’re not unmotivated. Your nervous system is overwhelmed.

When your body has been in survival mode for too long, it holds tension.

That tension keeps your nervous system stuck in fight, flight, or freeze.

This can look like:
Chronic tight shoulders or jaw
Digestive issues
Brain fog
Trouble sleeping
Feeling “on edge” all the time

This isn’t a mindset problem. It’s a nervous system pattern.

NVT helps the body release stored tension so your system can feel safe again.
