Emma Louisa Aesthetics

In January 2018 I had my little boy Zach, just before he was born I applied for the masters level non medical prescribing course at Liverpool John Moores University, not really believing I would get on the course, I thought...well I will just apply and see.

In spring 2018 I teamed up with Kara and Sandra at a local salon, Beauty on the square, in Ruthin. I had previously traveled to other salons aways from my hometown and continued to travel to Havana hair and beauty in Flint who's support has been unwavering from the beginning. However, I asked myself the question why I wasn't offering treatments locally? I decided to expand my treatment selection from cosmetic injectables into skincare treatments including dermaplaning.

I hadn't heard anything for months about the non medical prescribing course and resided myself to the fact I probably hadn't been accepted onto the course as it is competitive, then in July 2018 I received an email saying that I had been successful! Now I just needed to pass the 100% pass numeracy exam!

After a full evaluation of my business, I started to believe “the aesthetics company” seemed too corporate and not very personable. I felt that maybe I had been hiding behind this name, so I deiced to rename my business “Emma Louisa Aesthetics” to add a personal touch which is what I aim to offer each and everyone of my clients.

Then in February 2019 I found out I had PASSED the non medical prescribing course with distinction! In utter disbelief I can now use this qualification both in my professional and personal development as a nurse.

I have many ideas and I am working in collaboration with the girls at beauty on the square, I am now offering a range of treatments including wrinkle relaxing injections, dermal filler, lip enhancement, dermaplaing, Dermaceutic chemical peels, microneedling & meso therepy. I have more recently started working alongside the girls at Pure beauty and aesthetics in Rhuddlan and will be offering regular clinics. I believe in evidence based and safe practice alongside good customer service using quality products, which I will be bringing to Pure.

I have been asked why I do what I do...the honest answer is I do what I do to provide the best life for my children, cliche i know, but it is true! I love skincare and I believe Mental health problems have a effect on people both emotionally and physically and this can show on peoples complexion. I believe everyone has the right to look and feel as good as they possibly can to improve confidence from the inside out.

I want to help as many people as possible love the skin they are in.
