This weekend was a weekend for celebration. On Friday (13th - the day of the Divine Goddess), we came together for a Cacao and Crystal Bowl Sound Bath, opening our hearts and celebrating love and feminine energy.

With Valentine’s Day following on Saturday, our focus was on nurturing and showing ourselves love. When you show yourself love, gentleness and care, your inner peace and love will ripple outwards, creating more compassion in the world.

Every time I hear the chime on my phone telling me someone has booked their space, I get that exact You’ve Got Mail feeling (yes, I’m a huge Romantic Comedy fan) - pure excitement and gratitude. ♥️

A massive heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday. It was lovely to share your stillness and drift away from the noise of the world for a while.

Our next sound bath experience is on Sunday 1st February and has limited availability. Save your space for an hour of relaxation; calming the mind, regulating your nervous system and releasing tension.

Reset. Don’t Rush: A New Year Sound Bath Experience.

The new year is often marked by the pressure to “hit the ground running”. The overemphasis on intense fitness goals, rigid diets and a frantic pace of self-improvement but after the hustle of the Christmas period, is your mind and body ready for it or is it calling for a deep breath and stillness?

January is asking us to slow down and rest. Lean in to the quiet invitation of Winter and start your year with a nervous system that feels safe, rested and restored.

Unlike a traditional New Year’s resolution that demands more work, a sound bath asks for nothing. Simply lie down, snuggled under a blanket and let the frequencies of crystal singing bowls and other instruments wash over you.

It’s our final day of our 12 Days of Mindfulness.
Think about or write down, something that has made you smile today.

Think about the joy in the little things and the smallest of smiles you have made.

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve explored breathwork, intentional movement and the power of being present and I hope you have all enjoyed the journey and been able to “Find Your Calm”.

Your journey does not have to end here. I have now finalised dates for sound bath experiences during January and February. More details to follow. I can’t wait to see you all.

We have A LOT of snow here in North Wales and our penultimate mindfulness activity is so perfect for today. 🤍

I always love the peace and calm that snow brings and how it makes everything look so bright and clean.

This much snowfall makes more people stay at home so logically, everywhere is quieter, but snow actually absorbs sound waves as it contains of tiny pockets of air.

This is the perfect time to appreciate nature and your environment. You can do this without the snow too!
Grab a coat, hat and gloves and stand outside. Choose a natural object and take a minute or two to study it.
Try to think of it as though you were seeing it for the first time.

Day 10 of our 12 Days of Mindfulness invites you to try a 10 minute candle meditation.

Choose a candle and a space to sit for 10 minutes without being disturbed.
Choose a comfortable place to sit with the candle flame positioned at eye level, about two feet in front of you.
Let your gaze rest gently on the flame. Watch the gentle movements and colours of the flame. If you need to blink and refocus, that is fine and if your mind wanders, bring your attention back to the flickering flame. No judgement.
Breathe slowly and deeply, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
After 5-10 minutes, gently close your eyes and visualise the flame. You may already see the flame in your mind’s eye. Focus on this image for as long as you can/wish, staying connected to your breath.
Slowly blink your eyes open and gently blow out the candle. Think about how you feel in your mind and body.

Please make sure that your candle is placed on a heat-resistant surface and that it can’t fall over.

It’s Day 9 already and I am inviting you to take a moment to think about gratitude today.

What are you grateful for? Think about or write down three things that you are grateful for. This does not have to be a major task, don’t overthink it. Think about the little things that have made your heart warm or put a smile on your face.

Something that is appearing on my gratitude list today is my fire, keeping me and my home warm, especially after time in the snow!
