The last few months have been incredibly busy for everyone at Centurion Medical IOW. Alongside ongoing changes, we’ve been supporting events locally and working closely with our mainland colleagues at Centurion Medical Group across the UK.

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our dedicated team. Your commitment and professionalism throughout the year have helped raise the standard of event medical cover across the Island, ensuring the very best care for our patients and peace of mind for our clients.

What a fantastic update from Ryde 16 Round Table's Santa Dash in aid of Mountbatten and The Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group! We supported Vectis Medical Services with a Paramedic-led Medical Team in a Stretcher-Capable 4x4 for the event last weekend!

Despite the wet and windy weather, the Centurion Medical Group team had a fantastic day supporting Vectis Medical Services at the Isle of Wight Round Table’s Santa Dash — all in aid of Mountbatten Isle of Wight and the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group.

Our Paramedic-led team was on hand throughout the event, backed by our stretcher-capable 4x4 to ensure full access across the entire course and swift response wherever needed.

⚙️✨ What a splendid weekend it was at the Isle of Wight Steampunk Festival at Western Gardens, Ryde! From the marvel of mechanical contraptions to the finery of goggles and top hats, the festival was a true celebration of imagination and invention.

We were honoured to be the guardians of health, providing a Technician-led Medical Team to ensure that every adventurer, inventor, and airship captain could enjoy the festivities safely. 🚑🔧

As the gears turn toward winter, we still have availability to provide medical cover for your upcoming events.

Are you still booking for Your Events? Buyer Beware!

According to the 'Purple Guide'... The First Aider scope is no longer high enough to undertake Medical Cover for the public at most events.

The Purple Guide, also known as the Event Safety Guide is guidance which covers a high proportion of events in the UK. It may be listed as a 'guide', but Governing Bodies, Insurance Companies, Council Licensing Teams and Emergency Planning Teams use it as a 'Bible' of good practice.

Centurion Medical IOW offers Nationally Recognised Level 3 First Responders (FREC3 or Equivalent) as a minimum standard for Event Medical Support in the UK, supported by Robust Clinical and Procedural Governance and On Call Remote Support Systems. By providing a greater level of knowledge and skill, we're helping to ensure the safety of your Participants / Customers / Patrons and Staff.
