Alexander Technique is a unique education teaching awareness of physical/postural habits that lead to pain, stiffness and reduced range of movement. The light hands on approach encourages release of long held tensions and allows for greater freedom in movement. The technique has long been used by musicians, actors, dancers and sports people to improve performance and reduce strain and injury.

Many people who come for Alexander technique lessons, are hypermobile; some know it, some don't. Being hypermobile can have its advantages especially for some professions such as athletes, dancers and musicians but with our increasingly sedentary life style, it can have its disadvantages.
