Menopause doesn’t have to mean slowing down it can be the spark for a stronger, more empowered life. 🔥

For midlife women in their 40s, 50s or beyond, movement is one of the most powerful tools for navigating the physical and emotional changes of menopause.

✨ Exercise can:
✅ Protect bones and muscles, preventing osteoporosis & sarcopenia
✅ Improve cardiovascular disease (the biggest killer of women post-menopause)

As a Movement Coach, I’m on a mission to shatter the myth that midlife means slowing down. The truth? You’re just getting started. 💪

In the last few months I have had clients ask me, What’s the deal with GLP-1?
(Think: Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro)

These meds copy a natural hormone in your body that:
• Reduces hunger
• Helps control blood sugar
• Slows down how fast your stomach empties (you feel full longer)

Originally for diabetes, now also used for weight loss.

But here’s the catch:
• Common side effects: nausea, constipation, bloating
• If you stop taking it, weight can come back
• It doesn’t fix habits or emotional eating it just manages the symptoms

Bottom line?
GLP-1 can be helpful, but it’s not magic.
Long term success still comes down to sustainable habits and understanding yourself better ❤️

Big news 💫 🙌
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, mainly because as you know I’ve been building something that feels both exciting and, if I’m honest, a little scary.

After months of searching, I’ve found the perfect space for EmpowHer and I’m thrilled to say I’ll be based in Little Chesterford Saffron Walden.
This is more than just a location. It’s the next chapter in creating a space where women in midlife can feel supported in rebuilding both physical and emotional strength, with personal training, mindset coaching, and therapy all under one roof.

It’s a big step. But the mission behind EmpowHer keeps me moving:
🌿 Strength that feels good
🌿 Conversations that go deeper
🌿 A space where you’re seen, heard, and supported

So here’s to brave steps, new spaces, and supporting each other along the way.
