Rain free and with a glimmer of sunshine we started the week at Ellenbrooks Fields Nature Park once the site of the de Havilland air field and factory. A great location for our Monday workout session along the old runway practicing pole technique and pace, and some strength exercises including walking lunges.

A mild muddy walk up to Lamer Wood to catch a glimpse of the last flush of snowdrops. Abundance of green shoots from bluebells appearing everywhere!
Snowdrops bowing out and bluebells gearing up - a gentle handover of the woodland seasons.
Using our poles with great effect to walk our way through the muddy footpaths, working those leg muscles, it certainly was a Sunday morning workout in the green gym!

Saturday in St Albans.
The Strollers enjoyed an easy paced walk along to the nature reserve/watercress beds off the Alban Way, a haven of peace and bird song and somewhere for a moment to relax and reflect. Then up to the cathedral, into Verulamium Park and passing Verulamium Museum.

Elsewhere in the Verulamium Park, Natalie was discovering Total Body Walking with the Power Of Poles Workshop. Using our unique total body walking poles that are designed to encourage natural movement and engage the whole body, your walk becomes an all over body exercise.
