This week the babies focused on boats. They had fun exploring the different sensory items such as jelly, paint and sand.
They were spreading the paint with the different textures boats and even had a go making marks on paper to decorate their own boat.

The babies have been making Halloween hand prints from salt dough.

They have also been looking at colours and matching the Helicopters.

What a great festive week we have had, On Monday we started the week with listening to the stick man story and enjoy exploring our own stickman tuff tray. We also enjoy doing some Christmas tree painting.
Tuesday we used all different types of materials and decorate our own gingerbread man. We were using lots of new describing words. Wednesday we celebrate our Christmas party 2021. We started with our gymnastics which is every Wednesday. We then went onto create our own elf and played loads of party games while listening to Christmas songs. Gabriela won the pass the parcel game. We then sat down and had a delicious Christmas dinner, which was made by Jess. In the afternoon we made reindeer biscuits and decorates some Christmas tree decorations.

Chickenpox is going around again! Please remember NOT to give your children nurofen/ibuprofen if you think your child has it.
This type of medicine is an anti-inflammatory. It reacts with the chickenpox making them go deeper into the skin tissue, potentially causing a more severe secondary infection.
Better options:
👶Paracetamol for fever
👶Calamine Lotion for the itch
👶Keep your child hydrated
