this swarm required the use of our ‘bee vac’ (yep, a vacuum cleaner for bees that safely and humanely lets us hoover up swarms in hard to reach places without distressing or harming them!

The credit card swipe technique is a tried and tested quick and easy way to remove a swarm from a flat surface, as the bees can’t grip onto it they simply fall straight into the box, meaning you can get the whole swarm in, in one swipe!
