In many homes, reading time turns into the most stressful part of the day for the child and for the parent. It can bring tears, tension, and a lot of anxiety… even though everyone is trying their best.
What I want you to know is this: when a child struggles to read, it’s not always about effort or intelligence.
Sometimes there are underlying “core issues” getting in the way, things like visual processing, auditory processing, or retained reflexes that can affect brain development and learning.
When we identify what’s really driving your child’s difficulties, we can choose the right support. With the right intervention for example, sound training — many children make beautiful progress in reading fluency and confidence.
And over time, reading can shift from something dreaded… into something calm, fun, and genuinely enjoyable to share together.
If reading time feels hard in your house right now, you’re not alone, ask us about our sound training programmes.💛
