Melo started her journey with us 2 years ago on night shifts, showing dedication and compassion when our patients needed it most. 🌙💙 Recently, Melo has transitioned to day shifts, where she continues to bring the same warmth, professionalism, and positive energy to the team. ☀️

We’re proud to celebrate our team completing a dementia awareness and positive behaviour support training. This training strengthens our person-centred approach, helping us better understand each residents unique needs and respond with compassion, dignity, and respect. Today, our residents came together to discuss activities, menus, outings and ideas for the weeks ahead.
We are delighted to have one of our residents proudly chair the meeting. Leading discussion and making sure everyone has their say 🤞

Today, park beck and blair house ( the sister home ) has the pleasure of visiting the Older Adults Mental Health Service to personally deliver a hamper basket as a small token of our appreciation 💜

Both homes are incredibly grateful for the dedication, compassion and ongoing support they provide to the adults in our homes. Working together makes such a difference and it’s important to us to recognise the amazing work they do every day.

After this visit, we were also officially sign up to support the Alzheimer’s society. Supporting individuals and families living with dementia is something very close to park beck and Blair houses hearts and we are committed to raising awareness and getting involved in future fundraising and community initiatives.
