Beautiful scan done today on a little frenchie who’s owner wasn’t sure if she was having a phantom or a pregnancy , well she’s scanned for 2 little babies and measured at roughly 7 weeks and 3 days. So the countdown is on for her owners to get everything ready for her 😍
If in doubt , get us out 🫡

Quite possibly the best part of the job seeing new life being brought into the world! 🥹
This is why it’s sooo important to do a post labour scan!
Came out to scan this beautiful girl to make sure she had had all her babies after a long labour! As soon as I arrived she had mild contractions and a puppy was born as I walked through the door! I got a namesake- a little black female , baby Katrina 🫶🏽🩷
When scanned it was clear to see that there was no babies but there was a placenta present!
Advised oxytocin as mother was no longer contracting and boom the retained placenta was out and everyone could relax.
Congratulations to the owners on these beautiful babies! All are safe and well! Mother is happy and healthy and so are the newborns. Love a happy ending 🙏🏽😻 🐾

Well today is 3 years since I started my new venture as a canine fertility specialist Daly's K9 fertility clinic
Little did I know it would be the best thing I ever did!! 🎉
What a whirlwind 3 years it’s been! Meeting so many new people and amazing dogs! So many Likeminded people from across the globe!

Days like today just don’t get much better than this!!
I was asked to do a cytology for a lady who had done 2 progesterone tests from the vets both came back the same 48 hrs apart.
So my first instinct was split season as only cytology can show this.(where the levels don’t rise they don’t ovulate)
Swabbed her put it under she’s ready for mating Wednesday so bloods was wrong.
Client went back to the vets the retrieve the prog test results and they confirmed they had given her the wrong slip and she is indeed ready for mating Wednesday!

Thats why I do what I do. Cytology for the win 🏆
