🐾 National Dog Day: Celebrating Companionship, Goals, and Independence 🐾
At ILS Case Management, we know that goals come in all shapes and sizes — and sometimes, they have wagging tails 🐕
For some of our clients, dogs have been more than companions. They've been motivators, milestones, and sources of joy.
🦮 Roger takes his dog for walks with one of his support workers — a meaningful part of his rehabilitation and daily routine.
🐶 George dreamed of having a dog of his own. That goal became a reality, bringing structure, responsibility, and happiness into his life.
🐕🦺 Emily’s goal was to walk her dogs — and walk to the pub. Today, she’s living independently, has run a marathon, and shares her home with her dog, Pip.
These stories remind us that goals don’t have to be grand to be life-changing. Sometimes, they’re about reclaiming everyday moments, nurturing connection, and expressing identity.
