NEWBORNS: They'll never be this small again! Tiny head, hands, and feet in this gorgeous home shoot.

This family shoot, taken in June, was a perfect way for the family to be captured in a relaxed, natural way. So adorable.

Home shoots mean that no one has to stress about getting somewhere on time (are we ever on time with kids!) or not having enough/the right things (your at home...baby sicks on the outfit, no probs hust grab another one from upstairs!) And mum doesn't have to leave the house if she's not ready to! I come to you, and you just sit back, play and cuddle.

If you want to have a newborn shoot, the best thing is to book a flexable date around 1 or 2 weeks after the due date. It's flexible because I know these babies have a schedule all of their own, so we can chop and change if needed.

Not only do I take your photographs but I'm also a teacher of photography.

Two days a week I teach HE students how to advance their skills with more splashes of creativity too.

I also hold many adult workshop too, showing you how to get the best out of your camera on manual settings, but you dont have to wait for me to hold a workshop, you can book your own if you have a group wanting to get together.

Also thrown in the teaching mix are 1:1 sessions, which can be a day or spread other 3-6 weeks, where we go for a wonder with our cameras and I help you with whatever images you'd like to capture.

NEWBORNS: This was such a gorgeous home shoot! Olivia and Nick welcomed me into their home with newborn Margot. Olivia said beforehand that there wasn't much space and an excitable dog, too! But she had nothing to worry about, the space had gorgeous light and I bought a light kit too, and Cooper the dog was on best behaviour. Between us, we worked around Margot's needs (feeds and the naked poo shot, which will be a talking point for Margot' 18th birthday, I'm sure!) and the results were just what the wanted. Olivia said afterwards that they weren't the sort of people who liked having their picture taken (who does!), but they couldn't believe how comfortable they felt after just a few minutes! That's my mission completed, to help people capture precious times without the awkward feeling of being infront of a camera

Wedding photography is a real pleasure to do. I've travelled to so many different places and captured so many different types of emotions! This one was in Whitby, and a day full of love, joy and laughter!

BRANDING: Emma has worked so hard setting up , and it's a stunning place. It was a pleasure to photograph the space and the instructors. Also adding in another independent business with mugs from for a few lovely chatting shots.

BABY: 3 week old Harry was the cutest, and so chilled out! It took a bit of time and patience (I've heaps of that in my shoots with kids), but eventually we got him in his comfortable spot and I worked around him. You can't force babies or children to do anything, so I work with them calmly to get the best results and happy memories from the session too. Ooh, and the flat cap is just the best!

I'm holding some Cherry Blossom Mini's. It's springtime! 🌼 I love seeing all the flowers blooming, but my favourite is the cherry blossom, but it stays only for a brief moment!

STUDIO: What an amazing session this was. Some of the expressions pulled were priceless! The brief was a bit of a cake smash type session, but I've never seen a 2 year old so delicate when told 'yes it's for you, you can eat it!' But we got so much out of an hour together. I've had the amazing pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family before, and it was so lovely to see how he had grown! ❤️
