I LOVE to do something completely different once in a while..but I’m not just throwing colour on and hoping for the best… that’s not how I work.

For colours like this, your hair needs to be:
✨ Light enough (nice clean blonde base)
✨ Even (no patchy bits hiding in there)
✨ Strong enough to actually hold the colour

Because if your hair’s a bit stressed, overdone, or uneven, that gorgeous vibrant finish not showing up the way you want (in fact, one wash and its gone)

So when I say:
👉 Let’s do a treatment first.
👉 Let’s lift it properly in stages.
👉 Let’s hold off on the bright colour today

It’s not me being awkward… it’s me protecting your hair AND your end result 💖

Good hair isn’t rushed...and neither is great colour 💁‍♀️

Trust me, we’ll get you there… and it’ll be worth it!

So everyone's out using Chat GPT to run their lives (haha you know who you are) so I thought I'd ask it to describe me as a hairdresser 😂
What do we all think...did it 'get me' 🤔

What sort of hairdresser am I?

The honest one… sometimes brutally honest. 😅

The one who will gently explain that the Pinterest platinum blonde you want… might take more than one appointment (and possibly a miracle).

The one who cares more about the health of your hair than saying yes to everything. Because fried hair is not the vibe.

The one who will fix your fringe after you “just trimmed it a tiny bit” at home… we’ve all been there.

The one who will celebrate your hair wins, talk you through your hair disasters, and probably have a laugh with you along the way.

Because being a hairdresser isn’t just about hair. It’s about trust, honesty, and making sure you leave feeling like the best version of yourself.

(And maybe gently confiscating the kitchen scissors.) ✂️😂

Sometimes that means I might suggest a trim, a treatment, or the right products for home care 💇🏽‍♀️

It's also why I sometimes refuse to colour or bleach your hair....it’s about protecting your hair and making sure it stays strong, healthy, and beautiful long-term.

I genuinely care about your hair journey, and I always want you to leave the chair not only loving your hair, but knowing it’s in the best possible condition 🥰

Alopecia!

If I could have captured the emotions of this lovely lady on camera today I would have!

V came to me to cut her wigs last year and we chatted about what we could do with her own hair.

She always wears a turban, which she actually looks really lovely in and today she left the salon turban free!!

All I did was colour her natural hair, cut a small amount off the ends and cut her a fringe.

V was so emotional with having been able to have her hair done for the first time in years...made me cry too!

Honestly, sometimes the best bit about my job isn't always the hair, but the reaction of the client 🥰
