❄️🍺 Beating the chill, Saint Cecilia’s style! 🍺❄️
It’s been a frosty few days on the Yorkshire Coast, so some of our Saint Cecilia’s Care Home residents decided the best way to warm up was with a cosy trip to the pub for a light tipple!
Meanwhile, those who stayed snug indoors were treated to a special visit (and plenty of cuddles!) from Oatis 🐾💛

👑A look back at last week, as the wonderful residents and staff of Normanby House spent the day celebrating King Charles’ Birthday on 14th November!
From royal-themed activities to plenty of laughter and chatter, it was the perfect excuse for a bit of extra sparkle and celebration around the home- as well as a chance to sample some delicious treats!🎂
Fun Fact: Although King Charles’ actual birthday is on 14th November, the Commonwealth marks the occasion in May or June each year - giving everyone two chances to celebrate!
We loved making the most of the day with our residents, and we hope His Majesty had a fabulous birthday too!

🎄✨ Christmas prep is in full swing at Saint Cecilia’s Care Home! ✨🎄
Some of our amazing residents have been getting well and truly into the festive spirit with a busy day of Christmas activities! 🎅🛍️
💌 In the home, residents rolled up their sleeves to create beautiful handmade Christmas cards - each one filled with love, creativity, and plenty of sparkle!
🛒 Meanwhile, a few others took a festive trip into Scarborough town centre for a bit of Christmas shopping and a tasty bite to eat!
We’re officially feeling very Christmassy… and it’s only just beginning! 🎁❄️

A family-run business, we have four care homes: one offering dedicated and professional nursing care and three providing compassionate residential care, including dementia care. We also have a day care centre for fun, stimulating activities and excellent companionship.

Purpose-built residential care for up to 25 older people with physical care needs and dementia care, in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
Alba Rose
The latest addition to the Saint Cecilia’s family, Alba Rose is a care home in the picturesque town of Pickering. It provides professional and dedicated care for up to 22 older people.
