I am planning a new group meeting weekly or fortnightly to look at mental well-being for a couple of hours per week in a local venue. We will cover things like stress self esteem confidence and tips for being the best you can be. I plan to include mindfulness and relaxation techniques too for those who would be interested. Sessions will cost £10-15 depending on length and venue . Please contact me if you are interested or would like to find out more . I am a qualified counsellor with many years of experience of groups and one to one counselling.
Coming soon - I Also have other ideas for more specific courses such as self esteem and stress management.

Let’s talk about mental health. A lot of adults and young people are struggling with their mental health. Covid has really affected a lot of people badly and many people were bereaved during this time. Also we have extra pressures from rising prices and job worries even things like going back to normal.
Young people too are being affected and are worrying about a range of issues and pressures. Social media too means that we are affected in new ways.

It is Blue Monday today and I am taking the opportunity to start conversations about a potential online group to support positive mental health, confidence and self esteem. The group is called ‘Positive me’ . Initially this will be an online discussion group but I hope to be able to offer some focused sessions on a range of subjects and include face to face and craft activities. The first session will be an online taster session via zoom on Saturday 5th February at 2pm till 3pm. Sessions will usually be hours but this is a taster session and will cost £5. You will get chance to meet other people and take part in some activities aimed at self reflection so will need a pen and paper to make some notes. To take part please send a private message with your contact details. I am Also available to answe any questions. Make 2022 a positive year and take part in this fun session

I have decided to offer a weekly well-being group online which will look at mental health abs well-being. If I have the demand this group may move to a face to face group . We will have a different theme or focus each week. It will look at well-being and using meditation or mindfulness along with discussion about other aspects of staying healthy physically and mentally .

I know I have been quiet for some time. Just sharing some personal development of my own and am learning to draw. Just won a month’s subscription to a drawing site with great tutorials. Years of being scared of drawing was broken furring lock down and I am looking forward to progressing further and learning new skills. What new skills would you love to learn?

Another lockdown and I think there are people struggling with this. I wondered if anyone would be interested in a positivity group on a Saturday afternoon to do some self care and work on self esteem confidence etc. I would be looking at a small charge of £5 for people to join the session and you can dip in and out of sessions as you wish. Please message me if you are interested the group would of course be virtual and I am thinking we could start in a couple of weeks. This period of lock down has been a strange and sometimes difficult period. I am very aware that there are lots of people struggling and will find resuming our normal lives difficult. I am thinking of doing some online sessions and workshops to help with confidence self esteem and mindfulness techniques.

Hopefully too I will be looking at workshops as things ease.
