In the UK, if you have a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital your chance of surviving is less than 10%.

The power is in our hands to improve this sobering statistic; learn CPR, know where your nearest defibrillator is, and be ready to act in an emergency. A little knowledge makes a big difference!
