‘Off in the twilight hung the low full moon,
And all the women stood before it grave,
As round an altar. Thus at holy times
The Cretan damsels dance melodiously
With delicate feet about the sacrifice,
Trampling the tender bloom of the soft grass.’
Sappho (c. 610 - 570 BC)
We know that people have been gathering underneath the full moon, probably since the beginning of time, but how special to be transported back in time, into these sacred moments, through poetry.
Through the words of Sappho we can imagine, thousands of years ago, a celebration amongst women under the light of the moon. The same moon we gather under today.
I’m really excited to announce a couple of last minute spaces in our full moon closed group. The next session is late April.
You’re invited into a monthly space, with familiar faces, to experience yoga, ritual, meditation and dreamwork practices.
I’ve popped the link in the bio for you to find out more info & book if it feels like something you’re curious about.
P.s. We are now running a monthly full moon sound bath, April is fully booked, but please message me for waitlist or keep your eye out for sound baths the following month.
