Does your skin get red or overheated in the sun?

Calendula hydrosol is gentle, calming, and ideal for sensitive or sun-exposed skin. Add a drop of geranium essential oil (Pelargonium graveolens var roseum) for extra skin support, antioxidant benefits, and a soft floral lift—and if you do, don’t forget your dispersant (we use Solubol) to safely blend the essential oil into the hydrosol.

Combine your ingredients in a 2 oz (60 ml) PET or glass spray bottle.

Optional: add a touch of vegetable glycerin for extra hydration! Vegetable glycerin—also known as glycerol—is a clear, odorless, slightly sweet liquid that’s derived from plants. (Ours is produced from corn.) It’s a humectant, meaning it draws water from the air into your skin, helping to hydrate and maintain moisture in the skin barrier.

This mist is great after time in the sun, after a workout, or anytime your skin needs a little plant-powered care.
It’s best stored in the fridge for a cool, refreshing spritz. Use it within a few weeks and make a fresh batch as needed.
