A new beginning...
Yoga and other tales 🧘♀️
It's been over a year since the closing down of which was an incredibly challenging decision and needless to say heart breaking. I felt completely withdrawn from yoga after that and I lost the thread of my practice. I decided to swim, take cold showers, meditate, draw, and write write write every morning. Any thing but yoga because that felt painful and confusing and wrapped up in something I felt I'd failed at. The truth is it wasn't a failure, it was a massive success and I met the most wonderful students and teachers during those days. It takes great courage to end something you love, a different kind of courage than starting something new because endings are often wrapped up in grief and longing and a feeling of unknown uncertainty for what's to come next. Beginnings are full of hope and excitement, and maybe that's where this feeling of excitement is emerging from, a new source of energy where
I finally feel ready to return to teaching. 🙏
The upcoming course I'm offering is a 4 week Yoga and Mindfulness meditation course. I will be sharing a slow and steady movement practice, blending a mix of fluidity and stillness with the qigong & mindfulness meditation practices I shared during lockdown.
