Let’s talk verrutop! 👣

A verruca is a wart on the foot caused by a virus. They’re often harmless and disappear on their own—but not always.

This patient struggled for 4 years with a painful verruca. Pippa suggested 'Verrutop'—a clinic-only treatment made of nitric acid, zinc, copper, and organic acids. It breaks down wart tissue and helps the body fight the virus.

💡 Treating verrucas can be a long and frustrating process. Most treatments are designed to stimulate the immune system into recognising and attacking the virus, which takes time and persistence. Treatment is not always right for everyone but for this patient it was essential due to the pain she experienced.

Permission and consent from client to take photos and upload.

Client came to me regarding a verruca on the heel area, scalpel was used to take the top layer off to then see the verrucas ( black dots ) and Verrutop was applied to the area of where the verrucas were.

This verruca only took 3 treatments!!

Advise to client to use surgical sprit twice a day on the verruca as this keeps the area clean and dries the skin around the verruca so this helps alot when treating the verrucas. Client kept to the after care at a very high standard which has helped with the treatment.

One happy client and I'm over the moon 👏👣
