Some moments remind you what really matters.
Liz is 81 years old, still showing up, still moving, still putting the work in. Not chasing numbers, not chasing perfection — just embracing the simple privilege of being able to move, laugh, and spend time around good people… and of course Rocky the studio dog 🐶.

Life moves fast, and none of us know how many moments we get. That’s why places like T-Fit mean so much to me — it’s never just about training, it’s about the people, the conversations, the smiles, and appreciating the time we have together.

Moments like this are worth capturing ❤️🖤🤫🫶

Max working through a chest-supported row here. As the set goes on and fatigue builds, the range of motion shortens slightly, but the key principle is that the muscle is still under load. When you’re close to failure, continuing to move the weight through the strongest part of the range can still create a strong stimulus and keep the muscle working. That said, we don’t take every set to failure at T-Fit — it’s a tool, not the whole approach, and I only use it when it’s beneficial within the session. This was one of Max’s best sessions — moving from one exercise to the next, still producing strong reps under fatigue. At T-Fit we’re not chasing one-rep max lifts, we’re building strength through muscular endurance, control, and consistent effort across the whole session.

Sunday at T-Fit we celebrated Mother’s Day the best way we know how — showing up, lifting strong and supporting each other. 💪🌸 A brilliant strength rotation session this morning with some seriously strong mums putting in the work, setting the example and proving that strength isn’t just built in the gym, it’s built through everything they do every day. Proud of the effort, the energy and the community we’ve built here at T-Fit. The T-Fit family showing up as always. 🖤❤️🫶🤫

Sometimes progress means lifting less… not more.

Coming back from injury isn’t about chasing numbers on the bar. It’s about rebuilding movement patterns, control, and confidence first.

We slow things down, reduce the weight, and focused on the basics — positioning, stability, and quality reps. Because when the movement is right, the strength will follow.

This is what real training looks like.

One of our own T-Fit Family members, Ash, is running the Bath Half Marathon to raise money for the incredible work done by Alzheimer’s Society. As a community we always get behind our own, so let’s see if we can help push him to his £1000 fundraising target.
