What a wonderful day out today at Ilmington Show supporting some fantastic causes, in an incredible setting. Our first visit and certainly firmly in the calendar for August 2026! Thank you to all who set up this fabulous event every year. Looking forward to our cake having walked over to get our steps in we deserve a treat 😂

🚨 Heat Health Alert for West Midlands 🚨
From 12pm Thursday to 6pm Sunday a yellow heat-health alert has been issued for the West Midlands from the UK Health Security Agency. Other than getting yourself an ice cream, here's some other ways to stay cool and safe during warm weather:
✅ Stay Cool & Hydrated
• Drink plenty of fluids – avoid excess alcohol
• Wear sunscreen, a hat & sunglasses
• Cool your skin with water
• Take it slow – avoid strenuous activity
🏠 Keep Your Environment Cool
• Close blinds/curtains during the day
• Stay in the coolest part of your home – or head outdoors if it's cooler
• Never stay in or leave others in parked cars
⚠️ Be safe
• Know the signs of heat exhaustion & heatstroke
• Check in on vulnerable friends, family & neighbours
• Be cautious around water – only swim where lifeguards are present
