12th March 2025 marks this year’s National No Smoking Day and offers a great opportunity for those who would like support with quitting smoking to start enjoying the benefits of being a non-smoker!

It’s never too late to quit smoking! Shropshire’s Healthy Lives Stop Smoking Service offers free and confidential support including regular one-to-one telephone or in-person support, 4-weeks’ funded Ni****ne Replacement Therapy (NRT) following assessment, and routine carbon monoxide (CO) monitoring to help track progress.

Please note that we have an issue with our phone system due to a mass service outage in our area affecting our phones.
We are using our emergency mobile phones however response times may be longer than usual and some callbacks may not be possible.

Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service are here to help people with common mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression.

They offer information, guidance, and talking therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Counselling.

To access their service you need to be aged 16 or over and registered with a Shropshire or Telford and Wrekin GP.
