PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR NHS APP ACTIVATED - NHS ENGLAND WILL BE SENDING NOTIFICATIONS DIRECTLY TO YOUR APP FOR CERVICAL SCREENING TEST RESULTS - SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR APP ACTIVATED TO RECEIVE THEM.

From September, NHS England plans to start sending results from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme, utilising the NHS App.

In September, those who have a negative test result will be notified of this by an NHS App message. It will also appear as an NHS App notification. If the NHS App message isn’t read within 72 hours, a letter will be sent as a failsafe.

Abnormal result letters will continue for the time being to be delivered by post, so please ladies, make sure you attend when you are invited because its really important that we all look after ourselves.

NHS Confirm your address

NHS England, supported by PCSE, may send messages to patients to confirm their home address. This is part of their regular list maintenance activities.

These messages may be sent by letter, email and text message. Emails are sent from NHS Confirm your address . Text messages are sent from NHSdetails.

The emails include an option for patients to change their home address directly with the NHS at: https://change-your-address.account.nhs.uk. This is a new service that’s being tested with patients who receive these emails.

As part of cyber security, authentic NHS text message does not contain any links.

The importance of attending your Childrens appointments.

Today we have had 4 appointments for Childens Immunisation appointments not attend the appointments!

We understand, as most of us are parents too, that it is holiday season and you may want to spend the day anywhere other than bringing your children in for their Immunisations 💉 we get that....

But PLEASE phone in ☎️and cancel your appointment so that another child can benefit from that appointment, we have so many children that need these valuable appointments - if you waste one that's a child disadvantaged!

Cancel you appointments.

A gentle reminder ....... (only not so gentle!😢)

Can all patients please make sure if you have a mobile phone as your contact point then PLEASE UPDATE YOUR NUMBERS WITH US should they change, we use your mobile numbers for sending text reminders and various health messages and alerts, if we dont have your latest numbers we cannot stay in touch.

If we are trying to call you for a telephone appointment we will make 3 attempts - if you dont answer in a timely manner or your number is incorrect - do not then call and abuse the staff or you will be removed from the practice list.

The Team here have some amazing skills - mind reading sadly is not one of them, and to call in and verbally abuse staff when we have tried to contact you (on "your old number!") well, I shall not rant any further. 😡
