Working together with Silver Threads Hall and the community to grow our PPG (patient participation group) 🥰

🌛 This evening we attend the Practice Patient Group meeting at Donnington Medical Practice

🆘️ This helps us to feed back general concerns about the Practice but also helps us in understanding the practices viewpoint including funding and NHS requirements. It also helps and supports us within our Live Well Community Hub approach in Donnington.

📝 We can also contribute to and be kept informed of Practice decisions.

👥 The PPG needs more members to support the wonderful work it does and that could be you!

We are getting calls and queries from patients saying "I have received a message from NHS that I can no longer access my repeat prescriptions through the app. With no further information."

PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS ABOUT THE CLOSURE OF POD - YOU CAN STILL ORDER THROUGH YOUR NHS APP - PATIENT ACCESS OR ONLINE ON OUR WEBSITE

IF YOU CANNOT USE ANY OF THE ABOVE WE ARE HERE AT THE SURGERY TO HELP WITH FORMS OR THE BOX LOCATED BY THE DOORS TO POP YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS IN TO

The only thing that you cant do is irder over the phone, this has been in place for a number of years for both your safety and ours to limit mistakes.

Please place all orders for repeat prescriptions through your NHS app, patient access or call into the practice and complete a form from reception.

Take a look at the flow chart below to explain your route to sucessfully keeping your medication on track.

Please give yourself time and make sure you are requesting the right medication for you. Please be advised your medication is your responsibility.
